Moving day draws near for Rolling Acres Memorial Gardens for Pets

December 14, 2012

The day we’ve all been waiting for is fast approaching – moving day.  Our new building is complete, furniture is arriving daily and the occupancy permit has been received. After 40 years of waiting and planning, Rolling Acres Memorial Gardens for Pets will be housed in a brand new, state of the art facility.

It is our hope and desire that our new Pet Memorial Facility, complete with the latest amenities and long-standing traditions, will make each and every person feel comfortable when they enter our doors during this difficult period of their life. Please rest assured that the loving, compassionate care you are used to receiving from our Care Team Members will not change, but only be enhanced by all the improvements.

Watch for an announcement regarding our Grand Opening in the new year.

Merry Christmas everyone!

The holidays have arrived at Rolling Acres!

December 4, 2012

The Care Team Members were busy last week decorating the cemetery with holiday flowers, wreaths and grave blankets. It is a wonderful and beautiful way to remember those pets who have passed over. If you are not part of our flower program, please feel free to bring out your own holiday decorations and flowers to use to decorate the final resting place of your beloved pets. Should you have any questions about whether or not a particular item is permissible, or if you would like to join our flower program for the future, please feel free to give our office a call and we will be glad to help you.

As we enter the holiday season, it can be a difficult time for many who have lost pets.  Please know that the grieving process is different for each one of us so there is no wrong way or right way to celebrate the season while mourning. You must do what feels right for you.  With this in mind, mark your calendars that Wednesday, December 12th is our next Pet Grief Recovery group.  As part of our group meeting, we are having a candlelight ceremony for your pets who have passed.  If you feel you need a little extra help preparing for the holidays, please join us. We would like to companion with you to help with your grief recovery process.
